Donor fatigue?
Apr. 1st, 2008 08:01 amHi all,
Only a month to go!
The small trickle of donations to my Revlon Run/Walk fundraising effort has pretty much dried up. I know how it is--you scan the post on your flist, think "Hm, maybe I'll donate," then move on and never get back to it. We all have lots of things to think about other than which good causes to support, especially at tax time! I urge you to please not just scroll past my post this time, but rather to click on the link to my page and help out. Once again, all funds we raise will go to fight cancer. (And your donation IS tax deductible!) Whether it's $25 or $5, I really appreciate it. Lastly, my/our employer will match 50% of your donation.
If you are not comfortable using the online donation form, you can either print out a form from the website and mail that in (my bib number is 287), or find me and we can take care of it face to face.
Please help if you can. If you have any questions, write to me or come find me. And please, please--if you've already supported someone else, or are yourself a participant, or for whatever other reason have grown weary of me pestering you, tell me to knock it off. I will, I promise! :-) No guilt trips.
Thanks!
